Had a few days in Edmonton for work and being from Halifax I had to try B&G. Food was great and very authentic to classic Halifax cuisine. Only comment would be that sitting at the bar the bartenders did not attempt to strike up basic conversation and there was a lack of personality from the bartender unless they knew the "locals". Could utilize a male and female bar duo.

We are visiting from out of town and were intrigued by the establishment as we drove by. A quick U-turn at the next light and parked to come in. We loved the look of the place, and good music playing. We were seated by a sweet hostest whom we later met to actually be our waitress Jade. She had great energy. While she let us decide on our drink order, we enjoyed listening to her engage with other dinners. Her bubbly personality and enthusiasm was such a wonderful experience. We simply don't see enough of this anymore. She was knowledgeable about the menu and made great suggestions. After our delicious meal, I tasked her to get me the dessert she thought I should have. When she came back sad faced that it wasn't available, I told her she could have totally said the alternate (yummy blueberry donuts holes) were what I should have as they were delish! Thank you Jade. Having you as our server made the experience 100% better. Keep sharing that energy and spark. You make life a little brighter for everyone around you. Had a great time. Restaurant was very nice, they had live music playing during the intermission of the hockey game. The food and drinks were delicious and came out quickly. But what really made it a freaking great experience was our server Shae. She was amazing 12/10. She made us feel like we were her only table on a busy Saturday night. I can't remember the last time I had a server with such positive energy. Will definitely be back and I hope Shae is working. ?

I had the pleasure of being served by Kaylee during my recent visit, and she was absolutely amazing! From the moment we were seated, Kaylee’s warm and welcoming attitude made us feel right at home. She took the time to explain the menu in detail, offering excellent recommendations based on our preferences, and her knowledge of the dishes was impressive.

What really stood out was her attentiveness. She checked in at just the right moments, ensuring that we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Kaylee’s friendly and genuine nature made the dining experience truly enjoyable, and her upbeat personality added an extra touch of charm to our meal. Today I had the philly cheese steak but previously ice had the lobster roll and the o.g. donair. The sandwhich came I'm a white roll brushed with garlic bitter which I'm a fan of. Steak, cheese, pepper's were pretty good as well. Fries were standard. Food is definitely on the higher end of pub food! Unique proposition with the east coast influence.

Stopped in for a late dinner with my wife. We have been to the location in Lethbridge but first time here. We tried the lobster roll, seafood chowder and donair egg rolls. All the food was good. The lobster rolls were delicious, well seasoned with lots of lobster meat. Staff were super friendly and attentive. We came an hour before close so the place was pretty quiet, which is all good by me. Great place for some Halifax inspired seafood, donairs and much more. Thanks so much for dinner!

This was our first visit to B&G and we loved it. We went early enough to enjoy happy hour so that was a bonus but the food was all delicious. We started with a dozen oysters which were fresh and very good. My only complaint and why I didn’t give 5 stars was the condiment selection. You get only 2 accompaniments with the oysters, hot sauce and a mignonette and you only get about a TBS of each for the entire dozen. We are used to having horseradish as a choice and also not having to ration out the sauces. If you are trying to control costs, cutting back on the items that cost only pennies is not going to get you very far. But back to the food, Lobster Artichoke Dip was excellent, clams & chips, cheeseburger poutine, fish & chips and scallops & chips were all very, very good. We all agreed we would come back again.

Updated: we went in anyway kinda blind because of the website issue that's being worked on. What a delight!! Kayley was our server and was terrific. We ordered the lobster dip, cheesesteak and fried pepperoni and everything was phenomenal! It's very nice inside, bathrooms were super clean, music wasn't too loud. It was a really great experience. Highly recommend.

Came here with a large party and the way it was handled was incredible. Our meals all came out perfect and all at the same time. For a group of 30, I’m very impressed! Food was amazing and service was even better. Madison took very good care of us and I highly recommend being served by her.

Wow! The bartender Aidan gave not only us but everyone else in the building the best service I’ve seen and experienced in my life! Not only was the service by him top tier but also the service from the other servers and hosts! The food was amazing I would absolutely 100% recommend the grilled wrap with cajun chicken it was to die for genuinely. The layout was very beautiful and the music was great! Definitely definitely definitely go here and look for the bartender with the buzz cut!

Moving away from Medicine Hatt next week so I thought I better check this place out. In for lunch last week ordered a poutine and Donair spring rolls.! Food was amazing. Service was great and atmosphere was really cool.

We sat in the outside dining by the fire place & the atmosphere was perfect for some drinks. Everything we tried on the menu was recommended to us by our waitress! I forgot her name but she was awesome.
We tried the fried pepperoni, mussels, lobster artichoke dip & the cheesecake for desert. Everything was delicious! We even had to order more of the lobster dip! It’s a must try!

Four of us had supper on a Thursday, arriving just before 5 pm. There is lots of parking. There weren't too many patrons, but the place filled up after 5:30. It's fairly big, icluding a large outdoor side patio. Service was fast, friendly and professional. There is a very good menu selection (it's online). We had drinks first - 2 each of beers and cocktails. There was a good selection and they were fine. We had lobster mac & cheese, fish and chips, hali cheesesteak sandwich, and a smashburger. Plus, a shared order of blueberry grunt with ice cream for dessert. The food was very good with large portions. Mains are about $20-30. All in all a great meal. We very much recommend this restaurant when you're in Windermere.

East Coast street foods hits Sherwood Park with the Blowers and Grafton brand. Originally first arriving on Whyte Avenue in Edmonton, they are now expanding.

The Sherwood Park location is bright with lots of space and elbow room. Great natural lighting.

The service on this day was good. They seemed very busy and occupied with the Oilers game that night. But they were helpful when needed.

The food is great. They do a good job I'm their niche.

After numerous glowing recommendations, I finally decided to give this restaurant a try. It was easy to get in, and if the main lot is full, there’s plenty of extra parking available next door.

The menu was a delightful challenge, overflowing with options that seemed perfectly tailored to my tastes. I wanted to try just about everything!

I ended up choosing the fish and chips along with a bowl of chowder, while my wife went for the Shrimp Po’ Boy. Every bite was exceptional! The tartar sauce, in particular, was a revelation—I could drink it straight, it was that delicious.

The service was top-notch, and the food arrived quickly and steaming hot. If I had to mention one minor gripe, it’s this: I paid $8 for an extra piece of haddock with my fish and chips, but I was only given one tiny cup of tartar sauce. How am I supposed to enjoy three amazing pieces of fish with just one small serving? When I asked for more, I was charged an extra $2.

But honestly, if that’s my biggest complaint, then this place is clearly doing a lot right. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Fresh from the East Coast, Blowers & Grafton threw anchor and jibbed the sail. Halifax came to Medicine Hat.

Allow some time-traveling and order Halifax donair poutine. Voted as the official food of Halifax it lives up to the hype and most deliciously good! Shared meals should also include the mini lobster rolls, almost prepared too pretty to eat 🙂 just kidding it’s devoured.

One can easily imagine being on a cruise ship exploring the sea while dining inside this beautiful layout of the restaurant.

Anne’s raspberry cordial goes well with the crispy doughnuts and ice-cream.

Our server, Hannah moved quickly between the tables, made well received suggestions, brought meals fast and mentioned upcoming events.

The only thing that felt odd and took away from the aesthetics, the many television screens above the bar, showing an image of a man in some conference room. [Ocean life, East Coast & seaside beaches on the screens would be more interesting and contributing when the televisions are not in use.]

The restaurant fills up fast and is ever so busy. There are comfortable booths, tables with chairs and a well maintained powder and restroom for guests.

The prices vary but are quite competitive and the quality of the dishes exceeds expectations. The portions are larger than expected and doggie bags allowed.

Medicine Hat is known for welcoming many different cultures and traditions in their food industry. Hatters enjoy the delectable way migrated Halifax’s ambassadors contribute to the interaction and ever expanding horizons geared community. Blowers & Grafton Salute!

I came here, thinking about the delicious lobster sandwich I had in Halifax. Since it was my first visit, I wasn’t sure what to order and ended up choosing from pictures. Thankfully, a tall and friendly server (I didn’t catch his name) helped us and even fixed a mistake in our order without hesitation. The food was fantastic, and his kindness made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be back on Saturday or Sunday for the brunch menu.

Came with the kids to try out this spot on a Saturday morning. Food was pretty good and place looks really nice. We'd come back and try again.

Kids liked their burgers and donair slider, though one boy mentioned they were a bit heavy handed on the ketchup (on the burger) for his liking, but he was able to scrape some off and still had a great time with his food!

UPDATE: We recently went back for a large party event. This was probably the best service and food you could have asked for.
We arrived and the area was set up and ready. We had ordered our drinks and food and was outstanding!
The server was available and around it seemed whenever we needed anything and so polite.

For a larger group of 17 people the food took a short amount of time and was completely correct. We even had a young lady with nut allergies and they made her feel welcomed and that there was many options.

We loved the calamari, scallops and of course the fish and chips.
This is a huge improvement from when we were there last and honestly seemed like the years before when we would go.

Thanks so much staff and chefs this made my mom's 70th birthday amazing.

Visited with my grandmother. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was for the reasonable price point. the waitress was diligent about checking on us but did forget to bring my water, and my grandmothers second drink. the food was very quick, and full of flavor, and the volume of the place wasent soo loud that we couldent have a conversation. we did find it very chilly in the middle of summer, and I was cold sitting in shorts, so keep that in mind. but definitely worth checking this place out.

We haven’t enjoyed chowder like this since we visited New England! We also really enjoyed the fish and chips and the Irish cheesecake was heavenly. CJ, our server, was so personable and efficient, we never even had to ask for a refill! We also loved the vibe/design inside and the patio looked lovely. Great dinner and experience here!

The patio is nice and big. People say that McDonald’s fries are the best, no. This place makes better fries the same amount of salt, but thicker fries. Take that McDonald’s lol. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was extremely flavourful. The sauce for the fries and fish was super flavourful and a little bit salty. I ordered some donuts off of the kids menu and they were super sugary. They also had sauce on them. The sauce was sugary and the blueberries with the donuts made it taste super good and the bread inside super fluffy amazing. I wish I could give this place six stars oh well.?

First time here for a birthday celebration, really nice atmosphere, we tried the mussel bucket as starter, the sauce was delicious. Then, the lobster Mac & Cheese, perfect and tasty, but a little bit expensive for me. Then, for dessert, we got the Halifax rum runner honey cake, it was amazing. I just have one comment to make, the washroom was not really clean. Other than that it was a good experience.

The best fish and chips in the city! Fish came out piping hot and it's huge! Love the tartar sauce!

Really nice place for casual dinning or sports viewing. Food and drinks were really good. Service was exceptional. Only complaint I would have is that my first drink was about 2/3 only ice. It was really tasty though. I ordered another one asking to reduce the ice by 3/4 and they brought me a glass half the size. That was something I didn’t impressed me at all (making me think they add all that ice to make you think you are getting a tall drink while they are skimming n giving you pretty much just 2/3 of a small glass, since my drink still had a very large amount of ice. )

But besides this everything is very tasty and I still think it is a really good place to go.

This is a great place to enjoy food with friends!

Served by Sebastian and Hailey who were very attentive and friendly. Helped provide suggestions and made sure everything was good.

Food was excellent, we ordered the Donair Pizza, Falafel Salad Bowl, Clam Chowder, Ultimate Seafood Chowder, and the Fisherman’s Feast which has a really good selection of seafood (Clams, Fish, Scallops, and Shrimp)

I highly recommend Blowers and Grafton to get a taste of the Canadian East Coast in Calgary. Excellent food and great people!

First time here. Ordered the 2 piece haddock and chips. With extra piece. We shared the plate. Very tasty. The batter was just right. Everything came out hot. Jess mentioned that the seafood chowder was very popular. This was one of the best chowders I have had. Lots of seafood and thick . Taste was very good. Will be ordering the chowder again but bigger bowl. ?! Jess was at our table right away to take our order. Food came out fast and nice size of fish. Really liked the homemade tartar sauce. Restaurant was very clean, lots of room. Staff were friendly and happy. Outside patio that would be nice to hang out in the heat. Washroom was very clean and nice decor. Thanks Jess u got me hooked on the seafood chowder. We will be back! There Mother’s Day special looks really good.

The atmosphere was very laid back and inviting. The staff were very friendly and helpful! Great beer selection. I ordered the Smash burger and added bacon. It was delicious! I had the seafood chowder for a side. It was so creamy and flavorful! I'll be coming back!
