We attended the Shawnessy location for our first ever visit to to Blowers & Grafton. We tried several cocktails: razzle dazzle, old fashioned and the spicy passion fruit margarita. All were great and came to the table quickly. The food was good, no complaints. The decor was beautiful and ambience was nice, not too loud. Our server Beth however is the reason why we will not return to B&G. From the start it felt as though she judged us from the way we looked. She was cold and unfriendly. After multiple returns to the table to collect our food order (to which we were obviously still looking at the menu and at one point when she asked to take our food order only 1 person was at the table) she stated that it was ok, the kitchen was backed up anyhow. So when we did place our order, out of politeness, we stated there was no rush on the food. Beth’s reply “that’s literally not in my job description“. She didn’t quality check after we received our main course and immediately after clearing our plates, she brought the bill to the table with the debit machine, even though we still had full drinks in front of us. I had planned on ordering another but we were clearly unwelcome and she wanted to flip the table for another seating. Being from the East Coast myself, I was anticipating a more friendly and welcoming atmosphere. And although the food, drinks and pricing were excellent, it’s not worth the risk of having her serve us again and ruining our scarce night out without children.

A group of old friends got together over the weekend to attend the Spruce Meadows events. We chose Blowers and Grafton as it was three minutes from our airbnb. Definitely did not disappoint. Drinks came out almost immediately, followed by our delicious dinner and we even found room for dessert. Everything was great, but the true shining light of the evening was, by far, our server Cayla with a C. 🙂 Best service I have EVER experienced. Kudos to you Cayla, you are wonderful, and you deserve a raise. If ever in the area again, we will be back!

Has to be the most beautiful blowers ive been into. Lobster rolls never disappoint. Server shay was amazing. Love the dog friendly patio.

First time I been to a Blowers and Grafton was a tiny one just off 16 ave and it was great, when I seen it opened up here in Shawnessy I was overjoyed! I’ve tried a good number of things off their menu, and can honestly say it’s probably one of the, if not thee best place in the area for food and drinks. It’s a very classy joint considering it use to be a blockbuster video back in the day! Service is great, food takes a little longer than other places but definitely worth the wait. The fish and chips are amazing, fluffy and crispy , not dripping with grease and perfectly seasoned, and tangy refreshing coleslaw to pair with it, the fries are perfectly crisped with a nice dark gravy to go with them. The donair egg rolls are divine, crispy outside stuffed with seasoned donair meat and a perfect sweet sauce to dip them! I have Never had a bad experience in the half dozen times I’ve come here. If your a fish and chips lover and a fan of great food in general, 10/10 recommend.

This place is amazing, we went right at a busy time Friday at 6pm, and the service was fantastic and friendly and fast and great food every time, the Caesars are amazing. I didn’t get the bartenders name but she was amazing! You must really scope out your service staff before hiring. Great atmosphere, great band! Prices are worth it for a good date night

Service was great - i gave a 4 b/c the servers pefume was strong and the smell lingered at our table. The chips are a better option instead of fries. The smashburger was good but it needed something more like a tomato or lettuce. The shrimp po boy was also good - it had lettuce & tomatoes for that little extra!

This was our first visit to B&G and we loved it. We went early enough to enjoy happy hour so that was a bonus but the food was all delicious. We started with a dozen oysters which were fresh and very good. My only complaint and why I didn’t give 5 stars was the condiment selection. You get only 2 accompaniments with the oysters, hot sauce and a mignonette and you only get about a TBS of each for the entire dozen. We are used to having horseradish as a choice and also not having to ration out the sauces. If you are trying to control costs, cutting back on the items that cost only pennies is not going to get you very far. But back to the food, Lobster Artichoke Dip was excellent, clams & chips, cheeseburger poutine, fish & chips and scallops & chips were all very, very good. We all agreed we would come back again.

Updated: we went in anyway kinda blind because of the website issue that's being worked on. What a delight!! Kayley was our server and was terrific. We ordered the lobster dip, cheesesteak and fried pepperoni and everything was phenomenal! It's very nice inside, bathrooms were super clean, music wasn't too loud. It was a really great experience. Highly recommend. Hey yo did you know your website isn't working??

After numerous glowing recommendations, I finally decided to give this restaurant a try. It was easy to get in, and if the main lot is full, there’s plenty of extra parking available next door. The menu was a delightful challenge, overflowing with options that seemed perfectly tailored to my tastes. I wanted to try just about everything! I ended up choosing the fish and chips along with a bowl of chowder, while my wife went for the Shrimp Po’ Boy. Every bite was exceptional! The tartar sauce, in particular, was a revelation—I could drink it straight, it was that delicious. The service was top-notch, and the food arrived quickly and steaming hot. If I had to mention one minor gripe, it’s this: I paid $8 for an extra piece of haddock with my fish and chips, but I was only given one tiny cup of tartar sauce. How am I supposed to enjoy three amazing pieces of fish with just one small serving? When I asked for more, I was charged an extra $2. But honestly, if that’s my biggest complaint, then this place is clearly doing a lot right. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Came with the kids to try out this spot on a Saturday morning. Food was pretty good and place looks really nice. We'd come back and try again. Kids liked their burgers and donair slider, though one boy mentioned they were a bit heavy handed on the ketchup (on the burger) for his liking, but he was able to scrape some off and still had a great time with his food!
